My love affair with food began long ago….
It all started when I was a child who grew up in a home with the most amazing cook….my Mom, Irma, also known to her loved ones as “Irms” or “Gma”. My mom cooked every night when my brothers and I were young, and still to this day does the same. She never made a big to do about cooking, but always served the most delicious meals. Without a doubt, my incredible mom was the foundation of my love for food.
Not only do I enjoy cooking for my family, but also am thrilled to cook for our friends. I am so accustomed to having a full house that it just makes sense to share my love of the culinary world with others.
Cooking is wonderful, but don’t get me wrong, I also have a huge passion for dining out….there’s nothing like having trained chefs share their deliciousness!!
When at home, I try to keep things on the healthier side as my boys, well 3 of them, have all gained somewhat of a food obsession as well. It’s all about the food in this house! However, when dining out, I feel it’s important to treat yourself, and that I do! YOLO!!!!
I hope you enjoy my recipes and will gladly take suggestions & feedback from my readers. I truly value each and every one of you and your opinions!

I served with cauliflower rice that I mixed with sautéed chopped kale seasoned with a little curry powder & cumin. Those tomatoes, OMG, […]Continue Reading... No Comments.
When you have a boat load of men in your house watching sports on 3 TV’s, what do you do? You make buffalo chicken! Serve as a game day snack or as a meal! This is the easiest, tastiest, moist buffalo chicken and although it’s not as “clean” as I would like (Franks Hot Sauce), […]Continue Reading... No Comments.
I’m all about easy and this one literally came together in 20 minutes! Not only was super duper easy, it was tasty and healthy too! That’s a win win in my book! I had all the ingredients in my fridge and I literally threw it all together in a pan and BOOM! As far as […]Continue Reading... No Comments.
I have to be honest with you, I never intended to post this recipe as it’s something I just threw together, however it’s just too good not to share. Fantastic for all you vegetarians! Every week I like to roast veggies (usually Sunday or Monday) so that I have them ready for lunch (or […]Continue Reading... No Comments.
This is the perfect dish for a crowd and although it may seem intimidating because of the long list of ingredients, it happens to be super easy. Everything goes into the crock pot! All you do is “set it and forget it!” I doubled the recipe and there was not a morsel left! Don’t […]Continue Reading... No Comments.
