You have to make these! I ran into my friend Jill today and she shared this amazing recipe which she got from a website called Get Fit Now. Beyond easy to make, just one bowl and so delicious and healthy! Loaded with protein, these cookies are a perfect mid afternoon snack. The recipe only yields 9 cookies, so I can assure you I will be doubling, possibly tripling the recipe next time! Freeze them in an airtight container for longer lasting freshness. EnJOY!
Dark Chocolate Chip Protein Cookies
1/4 cup flax seeds
2 teaspoons chia seeds
3 tablespoons dark chocolate chips
1 scoop PB2 powder
2 scoops vanilla protein powder (I use whey protein I buy at Trader Joes)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mash banana in mixing bowl.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix well until combined.
Using a small cookie scoop, spoon batter onto parchment lined cookie sheet.
