place in pan with a little oil…
broil…reserve and heat marinade…plate and spoon marinade on top…I served with crispy artichokes & brown rice with dill…and an arugula salad…
2-4 pieces of fresh cod
1/4 cup soy sauce (I use low sodium)
1/3 cup good maple syrup
pinch of ginger
olive oil for pan
Preheat oven broiler.
Place soy sauce , maple syrup and ginger in bowl and mix well.
Add fish at least 30 minutes before you are ready to cook.
Heat cast iron pan, add a swirl of olive oil.
Place fish in pan and reserve liquid in small saucepan and heat on low heat until it begins to bubble.
Cook fish for about 5 minutes.
Remove and place under broiler for about 5 minutes.
Transfer fish to plate and drizzle with reserved sauce.
