• Oatmeal Raisin Oaties


    There’s a new member of the “Oatie” family!!! Welcome to the world Oatmeal Raisin Oaties! If you are a fan of oatmeal raisin cookies then you will positively enjoy this healthier alternative! There is no oil, no added sugar and no dairy in these babies…only bananas, oats, raisins and cinnamon. Can you imagine putting some fro-yo or ice cream between 2 of these for a home-made healthy ice cream sandwich*, well I did it and let me tell you, it’s heavenly!

    combine with oats, cinnamon, nutmeg and raisins…IMG_5986


    add to bananas and mix until combined…IMG_5989

    spoon onto baking sheet…IMG_5991

    flatten & bake for 25 minutes…IMG_5992

    remove from oven, cool…IMG_5996

    Make your very own home made ice cream sandwich…IMG_6003




    • 3 large or 4 small bananas, ripened and mashed
    • 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
    • 1 1/2 cups oat flour (pulse rolled oats in blender or food processor)
    • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
    • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
    • 1 cup raisins


    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Mash bananas in a large bowl.

    Place oats, oat flour, cinnamon, nut meg and raisins in separate bowl and stir to combine.

    Add dry ingredients to bananas and mix until well combined.

    Using a small cookie scoop, spoon cookies onto parchment lined baking sheet.

    Flatten cookies with the back of a fork.

    Bake for 25 minutes.

    Cool and enJOY!


    * Once cookies are cooled, place 1 small cookie scoop of ice cream between 2 cookies, press together carefully. Eat! You can also prepare cookie sandwiches in advance and place them in the freezer in an airtight container so they can be enjoyed later on.
