• Apple Pie Granola

    You can’t imagine how unbelievable my house smells right now! As if I was baking an apple pie, so sweet and warm! This apple pie granola, is much healthier and truly equally satisfying when eaten alone or as a delicious crunchy topping on greek yogurt, ice cream, nice cream or your favorite smoothie bowl! Packed with lots of healthy protein, no added sugar, low carb and only a small amount of healthy oil!

    place all dry ingredients in bowl & stir…

    add apple sauce and coconut oil…

    mix well…

    place on cookie sheet in a single layer and bake for 30 minutes…

    remove from oven, add raisins and let cool…

    Ingredients:

    • 1 cup rolled oats
    • 3/4 cups chopped walnuts
    • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
    • 3/4 cups sliced almonds
    • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
    • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
    • 2 tablespoons coconut oil (melted or liquid)
    • 3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
    • 1/2 cup raisins
    • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
    • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
    • 1/4 teaspoon all spice
    • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

    Directions:

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees

    In a medium bowl add oats,nuts, seeds and spices (all dry ingredients), mix to combine.

    Add coconut oil and applesauce and stir until everything is mixed well.

    Place on a parchment lined baking sheet in a single layer and place in oven for 30 minutes, gently tossing with a spatula every 10 minutes. remove from oven and sprinkle with raisins.

    Let granola cool and enJOY! Store in an airtight container or as I do in the freezer!
